The primary purpose of the travel grants is to give promising students or post-docs with limited financial resources the opportunity to participate in upcoming ISER meetings. Staff/teachers/researchers of universities/institutions from countries with underdeveloped economy and low salaries are also eligible for travel grants. Profit of the invested capital of the trust is used for the travel grants. The IERSC appoints the travel grant committee (TGC) at the Midway Meeting, which consists of the Chairman and two additional members. The members of the TGC represent different geographical regions.
